Is that Seal Rock picture a painting or just an exceptionally ethereal photograph? Either way, it's gorgeous.

It's a painting by Albert Bierstadt, a Hudson River School landscape artist. He went west in 1859 and in 1863, so presumably saw Seal Rock on one of those trips.

There's a mountain named after him.
